Good for you for trying to make a difference and help this poor little girl. Linda Hansen (1796) 09 Jan 2007 06:43 PMAnna, those are very heavy thoughts for such a little girl. I noticed she mentioned love, so its in there after all. First steps are important and she's finally talking, really talking about what she's thinking. I believe this is a tremendous step forward. Artcraft rsbg (501) 09 Jan 2007 07:20 PManna, my heart goes out to you. i know this is a tough time for you and for your family. but you are doing a great thing for makala. the turmoil she is feeling inside must be tremendous, it sure sounds like it in some of the statements she has made. i think her actually talking and getting these things out are very helpful, to help her heal, to help your family heal. you are in my prayers, stay strong! Anna Glendenning (4234) 09 Jan 2007 08:47 PMReading it all again I think we have very much minimized her issues of loss and grief.... Some of these things she has said in different ways over the years.... Melissa J (13710) 10 Jan 2007 12:54 AMOMGosh Anna, I cried just reading this. Too bad these kids don't come with a handbook. Praying for Makayla. Fatherofeight (2475) 10 Jan 2007 08:05 AMFor our house, the list gives us plenty of things to specifically pray about. Her words expose the holes in her heart. Some of these things only God can heal, its time for the saints to go to work. Anna Glendenning (4234) 11 Jan 2007 09:18 PMThis list has impacted me very much too. I see some real issues for our daughter in her words. We are just hopeful that she will get the help we all need and we can be the wind beneath her wings. DianeScraps (4230) 15 Jan 2007 07:51 AMI know this has to be tough, but I pray that since she is able to say these things that will open the door for healing for her.
