Planning the Toddler’s Birthday Party

My daughter’s birthday is coming up. I have been thinking about this for months now. I want to do something different and fun because she’s getting bigger. Jessie’s birthday is in the middle of November and there’s no telling what the Texas weather will do. Last year it wasn’t cold, but it was raining. We’re in the middle of October now and the temps are still in the 80s. In the next month the weather can stay this way or plummet completely. National Adoption Day 2009

Jessie joined our family on September 11, 2008. She was placed in our home for adoption. It wasn’t until June 2, 2009, that we learned that what was promised was going to happen. Sheryl Crow Welcomes her Second Baby through Adoption

Sheryl Crow announced this morning that she is adopting a second child, Levi James, who was born April 30. Crow made the announcement via her website, and her publicist confirmed the information. Crow, age 48, adopted her son Wyatt three years ago, when he was two weeks old. (Click here to see Michelle’s blog on Sheryl’s first adoption.) Should There Be Dual Citizenship for Internationally Adopted Children?

My last blogs were about the boy sent back to Russia and in which jurisdiction the abandonment occurred. (You can click here if you missed last week’s update .)
